Transactional Analysis News

IFAT publishes a journal devoted to the theory and applications of Transactional Analysis in different areas of implementation (Consulting, Education, Organizations and Psychotherapy). This review Transactional Analysis News, contains the best articles published elsewhere (especially those previously published in the US Transactional Analysis Journal) and articles directly written in French and selected by our Editorial Board.

After a year of mothballing following the demise of our publishing house, Les Editions d’Analyze Transactional, this magazine will experience a new life thanks to an online publication on an electronic platform, CAIRN-info , which publishes online no less than 395 journals devoted to human sciences in French. In addition to the agreement with this body will allow wide dissemination to universities, research centers and social organizations, it will open the possibility for everyone to read (and download) articles or issues of the journal.

To do this, it will be sufficient, from February 17, to go to the website www.cairn.info where the number 145 Transactional Analysis News will be posted. The summary, the editorial, the « hat » presenting each of the articles, as well as the Forum section will be freely accessible. Feature articles will be in paid access.

Another possibility is to join the IFAT association , whose subscription includes free access to the magazine on CAIRN, as well as access to all the numbers covering the years 2008 to 2012. If you join , or if you have already joined or re-joined since the beginning of 2014, you will soon receive a personalized access code allowing you to go freely on the CAIRN website to read and download Transactional Analysis News. Of course, there is a delay (about a month) between the moment your membership (or re-membership) has been received by the IFAT, and the moment when you will be able to access the magazine, especially as we are still in break-in period.

In addition, our editor is Patrick Bailleau, who can be reached at the following address: patrick.bailleau.revue@gmail.com It is to him in particular that you can send your draft articles, that he will take care to render perfectly anonymous before transmitting them to the Drafting Committee which decides on the possibilities of publication. In this respect, we can not encourage readers and (future) authors to read the magazine’s page, which details the reading and acceptance criteria in our journal.
